The farmhouse

Prairie Garden Bed and Breakfast is a farm perched high on a hill just walking distance from Lake Wisconsin. This charming farmhouse combines the old with the new, enhanced by our many antiques throughout the house. Come sit around the fireplace and see the spectacular views with Devils Head Ski Resort in the distance, or play our piano. Two very comfortable sitting areas for you to enjoy, with plenty of room to spread out.

Start your day with a homemade farm breakfast while enjoying the breathtaking views of the Baraboo Bluffs and Devils Head Ski Resort. Take a short drive to Mazo Beach, a nude beach, located on the Wisconsin River, or take a tour of the local winery.

 It's always fun to cross the lake on the free Merrimac ferry, then off to Devils Lake State Park or hop over to the famous circus world museum and Wisconsin Dells. For the Night owls, There's gambling at the Ho Chunk Casino, or just take a short hike to experience the quiet beauty of the sunset over the lake. Help feed the animals or take a hike up Gibraltar Rock.

Nearest Major City: Madison, 29 miles

Follow interstate 90/94 West (north) of Madison to exit 119 then exit. Turn right on highway 60 west for 4 miles to Lodi, Wisconsin. Take a right on highway 113 North and follow it north 8 miles. Highway 113 turns into 188 south. Follow 188 South for 2 miles, 1 mile past public boat landing. Prairie Garden is on the right.
